Author Guidelines
Manuscript Preparation and Submission

Authors intending to submit manuscripts to Jus et Civitas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat are expected to follow these guidelines to facilitate a smooth editorial process:
1 Types of Accepted Manuscripts
The journal accepts:

Original research articles

Case studies or legal community service reports

Literature reviews or conceptual analyses

Best practice reports in legal empowerment
2 General Writing Requirements

Manuscripts must be written in proper Indonesian or English.

Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere.

Length: 4,000 – 7,000 words including abstract, footnotes, and references.

File format: Microsoft Word (.docx)

Page setup: 3 cm left margin; 2.5 cm top, bottom, right; 1.5 line spacing; Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt.

General structure:
Title, Author Name(s), Affiliation, Abstract in both English and Indonesian, Keywords, Introduction, Method, Discussion, Conclusion, References.
3 Abstract and Keywords

Abstracts must be written in both Indonesian and English, max 200 words.

Keywords: 3–5 words/phrases.
4 Citation Style

Citations must follow APA 7th Edition.

Authors are encouraged to use reference managers such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.
5 Peer Review Process

All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.

Average review time: 4–8 weeks.
6 Publication Ethics

Authors must ensure the originality of their work and properly cite all sources.

Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed upon submission.
7 Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) at https://ejournal.stihzainulhasan.ac.id/index.php/jusetcivitas/.

Authors must register and log in to submit their manuscripts.
